「潇湘竹韵」:板桥墨意,月下竹影摇落一地星子

分享一件上世纪六十年代香港产的织银三色竹古董旗袍。 它是一件将东方文人风骨与西方摩登线条完美融合的艺术品。

旗袍以温润的米白针织面料如凝脂般铺展,其上,赭石、墨绿与靛蓝三色织就的竹影错落有致,如郑板桥笔下“咬定青山不放松”的疏影横斜。面料的肌理带着旧时光的呼吸感。

尤其精妙的是织银的细线蜿蜒其间,赋予了竹叶生命。在光线流转间,银光轻颤,似将月光揉碎,洒成叶尖未晞的露珠;又如**《红楼梦》中潇湘馆的竹韵穿帘**——风过时,仿若竹枝在夜色里摇落一地星子

六十年代的港式旗袍,以立领抿住东方端庄短袖落落露出腕间风情修身剪裁勾勒出曲线,却因竹的清劲而消解了艳俗。赭石与墨绿的晕染如文人画中的留白,虚实之间,是那个年代对传统纹样的现代转译:既有旗袍的婉约身段,又暗合香港彼时中西交融的摩登气韵。

它是衣,亦是卷轴。竹叶修长如汉字的筋骨,织银流光似岁月的注脚。 当旗袍在橱窗立起,背景里屏风的雕花与青花瓷的釉彩悄然呼应——仿佛黛玉的竹、板桥的竹,都在这方寸衣料上活了过来,于流年里织就一袭永不褪色的风雅

 

"Bamboo Rhyme of Xiaoxiang": The Spirit of Banqiao's Ink, Moonlight Shattered into Stars by Bamboo Shadows

We share a stunning 1960s Hong Kong vintage Qipao, featuring a lurex-woven, tri-colour bamboo motif. It is a masterful synthesis of the scholarly Eastern spirit and sleek Western modernity.

The Qipao is rendered in a soft off-white knit fabric, unfurling like solidified jade. Across it, bamboo shadows, woven in ochre, dark green, and indigo, interlace gracefully, evoking the sparse, slanting shadows of bamboo penned by the Qing dynasty painter Zheng Banqiao, whose famous poem praises the bamboo's unyielding spirit. The fabric texture possesses the palpable, breathing quality of history.

Particularly exquisite is the delicate lurex thread woven throughout, animating the bamboo leaves. As light passes over it, the silver threads subtly shimmer, as if moonlight has been crushed and scattered into dewdrops resting on the tips of the leaves. The effect is reminiscent of the bamboo motif woven into the screens of the Xiaoxiang Lodge in Dream of the Red Chamber—when the wind blows, the silvery light trembles, as though the bamboo branches shake down a scattering of stars in the night.

The 1960s Hong Kong style Qipao maintains its Eastern decorum with a modest high collar, while the short sleeves elegantly reveal a hint of wrist grace. The fitted tailoring outlines the curves, yet the bamboo's spirited elegance mitigates any sense of vulgarity. The watercolour-like diffusion of ochre and dark green acts like the "negative space" in traditional Chinese painting, creating a sense of balance and rhythm. This interplay of light and shadow represents that era's modern reinterpretation of traditional motifs: possessing the Qipao's gentle silhouette while embodying Hong Kong's then-current Sino-Western fusion.

It is a garment, and simultaneously, a scroll. The bamboo leaves are long and sinewy like the strokes of Chinese calligraphy; the flowing lurex is like the footnotes of time. When the Qipao stands in the window, the carved screen and the glaze of the porcelain quietly echo its beauty—as if Daiyu's bamboo and Banqiao's bamboo have come alive on this small piece of cloth, weaving an everlasting elegance through the flow of years.
