This is a collecting story filled with serendipity and a touch of fate. I was incredibly fortunate to have accidentally acquired six antique Cheongsams (Qipao) from the 1960s, all belonging to the same lady. They have collectively traversed half a century, arriving before me with the utmost grace and dignity.

The unifying feature of these garments is their undeniable elegance. The lace on them all is crafted from delicate hand-finished lace, clearly originating from Europe in the 1960s. This luxurious material is seamlessly blended with the refined Hong Kong or Taiwanese tailoring, resembling a secret rendezvous between Eastern charm and Western romance. Every stitch conceals the preciousness of old times, a testament to the meticulous attention to detail that defined that era's unique elegance.
