The soul of this piece lies in its unique fabric craftsmanship: embossed velvet. I have collected many antique Qipaos made from embossed velvet over the years, and the shimmering, rippling texture created by the hot-pressing technique on the velvet surface has always deeply resonated with me. However, this Qipao stands alone because it is the only one that combines this rich textural craft with exquisite prints.
